Rosemary Palmer
Board Member, Retired Occupational Therapist, Level One Hippotherapy Certified

RRosemary has been a part of Willow Creek Ranch since the very beginning, contributing her expertise as an Occupational Therapist to strengthen sessions and support riders. A graduate of Mount Mary College, Rosemary specialized in developmental disabilities, neurobehavioral and neurological impairments, and sensory integration. She holds a Level One Hippotherapy certification.

In the early years of WCR, Rosemary served as a side walker, sharing her time, skills, and professional insight to help children and adults with sensory processing challenges, attention difficulties, and behavioral issues. Through her OT work, she has witnessed participants achieve milestones such as

saying their first words, sustaining focus, and developing calm, cooperative behavior—all supported by the movement and partnership of the horse.

After many years of hands-on involvement, Rosemary continues to support WCR as a dedicated board member. Her years of commitment and belief in the program have made a lasting impact on the lives of participants and the growth of WCR since its inception.
