Jim Caughey, Board Member

Jim has been a long-time supporter of Willow Creek Ranch–sponsoring horses, doing chicken chores, general handyman and ranch volunteer for many years. He was responsible for engaging members of the WISILL Hunter Retriever Club to help with WCR needs and property improvements. Jim was elected to the WCR Board of Directors in April 2024.

Jim’s love of animals started at a young age in rural Pennsylvania. “We had a couple of horses growing up and always had German Shepherds too. I worked on several local farms bailing hay, milking cows and harvesting other crops. I was taught by example to always respect and help others whenever you can. WCR exemplifies the values I was raised up on and it’s a privilege to be involved with the Ranch and its mission.”

Jim has led and managed various business units including financial, education, municipal and pharmaceutical/biotechnology. He currently is president and owner of his own consulting agency. Jim is also a Navy veteran.
