Tate, a charming miniature horse with a gentle presence and curious personality, is the smallest member of our herd and a big favorite around the ranch. He joined the Willow Creek Ranch family in the spring of 2024. He lived as a beloved family pet on a small hobby farm in Oklahoma, where he was part of a mixed herd that included goats, chickens, and full-sized horses.

Since his arrival, Tate has settled in well and quickly became known for his sweet nature—but don’t let his small size fool you, as he does expect you to earn his trust. Once comfortable, Tate’s personality truly shines. He adds a special dynamic to the herd, often creating playful and entertaining moments with his herd mates, and bringing an extra dose of character and charm to daily life at the ranch.
