Smoke arrived at Willow Creek Ranch in the fall of 2025. He is a blue roan gelding and an unregistered Quarter Horse. He arrived at Southern Wisconsin Second Chance lot in August of 2025, thin and in poor condition, but with proper care and feeding, he has regained his health and weight. Smoke is quiet, gentle, and exceptionally reliable.

Formerly a Montana ranch horse, his beautiful color matches his calm and curious disposition. Smoke is also protective of his herd-mates, particularly Cisco and Teddy, demonstrating a thoughtful and kind nature. Smoke is a true “good-hand” horse and a wonderful addition to the WCR herd. Smoke is also the personal horse of one of our long-time volunteers and will be joining both the Equine-Assisted Therapy and Horsemanship programs.
