Cisco is a palomino gelding, about 14.1 hands tall, who came to Willow Creek Ranch in the fall of 2025. When acquired by Southern Wisconsin Second Chance lot in 2024, Cisco was thin and in poor condition. In his younger years, he spent time on a Mexican ranch, where he gained experience working with yearlings and cattle. He bears a firebrand on his left shoulder, a mark of his past with charro cowboys.

Since joining WCR, he has been steadily improving his health while allowing his scars to heal. Despite some trust issues and occasional fears, Cisco has proven himself to be a quiet, gentle, and honest horse, taking his time building bonds and earning trust with people.

With his ranch skills, sweet temperament, and resilient spirit, Cisco is a tried-and-true “real-deal” ranch horse and a wonderful addition to the WCR herd.
