Calibur has been a valued part of the therapeutic riding program since its very beginning in 2007, making him one of the most experienced and longstanding members of the Willow Creek Ranch herd. A former barrel racing and pole bending athlete, Calibur brings a strong work ethic, athletic background, and clear communication style to his work.

Best suited for more independent riders, Calibur supports participants who are ready to develop greater focus, confidence, and riding skills. While generally patient, he also helps riders learn to read and understand horse behavior, encouraging growth in awareness, balance, and intentional riding.

Calibur is beginning to show signs of age and benefits from special therapies himself, which help keep him comfortable and supported in his work. He is also the son of WCR horse Grace, making him a meaningful part of the WCR family legacy. Calibur’s dedication, experience, and history make him a truly special member of the equine assisted service programs
