Slapshot is one of Willow Creek Ranch’s first riding horses, helping participants since 2007. Born in March 2002, this registered sorrel Appaloosa had a competitive past in barrel racing and pole bending, reaching championship levels in his younger years.

This calm and charming fellow, Slapshot has been a mainstay of WCR’s therapeutic horsemanship program for many years. Though he now requires special care for aches and pains as he ages, he continues to give his all in every riding and therapy session, bringing joy and support to all who work with him. He will live out his days as a beloved horse with a forever home at WCR.
