Beere arrived in Wisconsin in the fall of 2021 from a trail-riding program in Arkansas and was purchased by Willow Creek Ranch that December. He was named in honor of Mr. Richard Beere of Waterford, who generously donated the use of his 78-acre horse property from 2008 to 2011, enabling WCR to grow and expand its programs.

Beere is a valued member of WCR’s equine team, where he helps encourage riders to develop greater independence. His smaller size makes him less intimidating than some of our taller horses, helping riders build self-confidence and trust. Beere is quiet, well-mannered, and reliable, and we look forward to many more years with this special horse.
