Marty Hren, Board Secretary

Marty Hren has been a volunteer at Willow Creek Ranch since 2009 in the roles of sidewalker, horse leader, volunteer coordinator and certified therapeutic riding instructor. She is on the board of directors as secretary and past chairman. In addition, Marty works on many administrative and communication tasks in support of the Executive Director and business of the Ranch.
Here at Willow Creek Ranch, she has been involved with a variety of activities including program planning, providing lessons for special needs children and adults, new volunteer orientations, horse training and horse care.
In 2015, through the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship, International (PATH), she became a registered instructor. In 2019, she earned the PATH Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor designation. Willow Creek Ranch is a center member of PATH.
Marty has a business administration degree from Marian University and has worked in education and non-profit organizations.
